Tropicar Supports the 2016 Téléthon in La Réunion

From November 27 to December 4, 2016, Tropicar proudly supported the Téléthon Réunion by providing a vehicle to accompany the AFM-Téléthon teams in their actions across the island. This was a unique opportunity to actively contribute to raising funds for research into neuromuscular diseases, which affect thousands of families in France, including in La Réunion.

A Week of Solidarity Actions Across the Island

With the support of sponsors Stéphanie Thazar and Danyèl Waro, the AFM-Téléthon organized more than 200 events in towns all over La Réunion. Murals, sports challenges, artistic, cultural, and family activities brought people together around this noble cause. Each event aimed to raise awareness and collect donations to finance research projects and provide support to patients.

The Importance of Supporting Research and Patients

The Téléthon is a cause that resonates with everyone, as it represents the fight of patients and their families against rare and devastating genetic diseases. Thanks to the generosity of donors, AFM-Téléthon can finance essential research each year to combat myopathy and other neuromuscular diseases.
